“Ennio Morricone & Nino Rota” film music concerts were held in Belgrade in the hall of the Sava Center, two days in a row on November 7. and 8. 2024.
The audience enjoyed the famous tracks from the cult films “The Godfather”, “Once Upon a Time in America”, “The Good, the Bad, the Bad”, “Octopus”, “Professional” and others.
The original creator of the project was Marcello Rota, a world-renowned conductor who also conducted the concert in Belgrade. The music from the films was performed by soloists who went down in the history of Italian and world cinema and who collaborated closely with Morricone: Nello Salza (trumpet), Ludovico Fulci (piano), Susanna Rigacci (soprano). Under the impeccable leadership of maestro Morricone, they held more than 500 concerts around the world, among which was a concert in the Belgrade Arena in 2009.
