MIDALIDARE ROCK in the WINE VALLEY is a festival located in the beautiful wine region of Thrace in the village of Mogilovo in Bulgaria and this is its fifth edition. The festival is designed very creatively, to satisfy the needs of the whole family, more precisely the audience of all ages. There are countless activities, various interesting contents and of course perfect organization.
Three festival days of the Midalidare Rock festival and an imposing 756 m² stage, 14 m2 high, set up for 14 world-famous bands!
On the first day of the festival, July 11, the American heavy metal giants Manowar performed, declared the loudest band in 1984 by the Guinness Book of Records. Ten years later, they broke their own record by reaching 129.5 decibels at a concert in Hanover, but this category was later removed for safety reasons. Manowar performed as part of the “Blood of Our Enemies Tour 2025”, celebrating the albums Hail To England and The Sign Of The Hammer 2024. On the second day of the festival, W.A.S.P. performed while the legendary Alice Cooper, a pioneer of theatrical hard rock, closed the festival.
For the second time at the Midalidare Rock Festival, the audience welcomed the group Doro, led by metal queen Doro Pesch. In 2023, the band celebrated its 40th anniversary on stage and released a new album Conqueress – Forever Strong and Proud.
In addition to these artists, the bands Heat, Brainstorm and Orden Ogan, known for their contribution to the power and heavy metal scene, also performed.
The audience also enjoyed great performances by famous names Elvenking, Floor Jansen, Kissin’ Dynimite, Michael Schenker, Triumpher,Tungsten and Twighlight Force.
