The international concert spectacle, Lords of the Sound, took place for the first time in Serbia in January 2023. The concerts, entitled “Music of Hans Zimmer”, premiered on Sunday, January 29. in the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad and then on 30.01. In Belgrade. Two shows in a day, in both cities, it seems were not enough, because they were immediately sold out and more tickets were requested.

The audience enjoyed unforgettable hits from the films: “Gladiator”, “Mission Impossible”, “Inception”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Dune”, “Spider-Man 2”, “The Dark Knight”, “Interstellar”, “Gravity”, “Sherlock Holmes”, “Angels and Demons”, “The Da Vinci Code”, “Pearl Harbor”, “Spirit”, “Wonder Woman”, “Madagascar”.
The stunning success of the Lords of the Sound orchestra concerts combined with the best compositions of Hans Zimmer offers the audience an unforgettable experience, the atmosphere of a real fairy tale filled with the beauty of the symphonic sound of favorite compositions, the energy of a rock band, colorful visual effects, powerful vocal parts of soloists and choirs, positive energy, dynamics and the strength of the entire orchestra. The soloists are: Margarita Meleško and Jaroslav Radionenko. The conductor is Shahrok Fatah Aiminzade with the Ukrainian Symphony Orchestra.
In addition, almost before every composition of the vocal-instrumental gala concert, the audience could listen to the narration of Hans Zimmer, with his photographs, who introduced the audience to his life and creativity.

Thus, the German composer discovered that when he was very young, his family did not have a television, but there was a piano that meant a lot to him, and he started playing and creating music very early and saw what miracles could be created with this instrument.
The artist further narrated that there is always a part of his personality in all compositions, he cannot just create on demand like a machine, and he likes to give himself in those works.
At one point near the end of the concert, the conductor Shahrok Fatah Aiminzade animated the audience mostly through pantomime, that is, he gave them instructions and education through signs on how to clap along with the rhythms of certain melodies.
Hans Zimmer is a German film composer, who gained his popularity after the cult film “Rain Man”. This work was crucial for his career. Zimmer received an Oscar nomination. The best Hollywood directors lined up to work with him, and Hans devoted himself to the work completely, often composing music for two to three films at a time. His music touched the Disney studio so much that they commissioned a composition from Zimmer for the animated film “The Lion King”. The theme song of this cartoon brought the composer three of the most prestigious awards: Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy.
The complete technical realization (audio, video, lighting) of both concerts in Novi Sad was entrusted to Studio Berar, while in Belgrade we were in charge of the LED screens.
