The International Fencing Spectacle was held in Novi Sad. The World Cup in foil for senior women gathered 216 top competitors from almost 40 countries around the world. This senior competition, in the discipline of foil, took place from December 8 to 10 in the SPC Vojvodina in Novi Sad.
The Fencing Federation of Serbia, under the auspices of the International Fencing Federation, and with the support of the City of Novi Sad, the Ministry of Sports and the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Serbia, organized the World Cup for Women in the foil discipline.
This prestigious competition brought together the very top of world fencing.
The contestants included the most prominent names from the world rankings, including the top three: Kiefer Lee from the USA, Volpi Alice and Battini Martina from Italy.
