The Swedish industrial metal band “Pain” performed again in Belgrade after 6 years, on the occasion of their “I AM” tour. In the club Zappa Baza on 23.11. In 2023, they were welcomed by a large number of fans.
Without a front group and special guests, the group “Pain” with its singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Tagtgren started with the song “Let Me Out” and announced a fierce atmosphere.
Also without much announcements and communication with the audience, he just arranged the hits “End Of The Line”, “Nailed To The Ground”, “On Your Knees” and “Revolution”.
A highly trained band, with quality attractive lighting and lasers, excellent sound, turned the Zappa Baza club into an authentic attraction among venues in Belgrade, where the audience enjoyed an unusual audio-visual performance.
Peter’s son Sebastian was behind the drums, while bassist Jonathan Olson and guitarist Sebastian Svalland showed their virtuosity in the songs “It’s Only Them” and “Suicide Machine”, tirelessly following the Tagtgren duo in unprecedented energy.
After six years since the last concert in Belgrade, the band conquered the audience again this night with infectious choruses and riffs – already with “Party In My Head” the whole hall sang along with Peter, and they also played two encore hits “On And On”. and “I’m Going In” .
At the very end, the guys from the metal band “Pain” performed the track “Shut Your Mouth” and the anthology hit “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, bowed and thanked the enthusiastic audience.
