On the last day of September, Vladimir Ampov – Grafa, at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, created an unprecedented musical stage spectacle in front of more than 20 thousand visitors.
With more than 20 songs on Saturday night, Grafa delighted the crowd at the Vasil Levski Stadium and took them through his entire career, which began when he was just 10 years old.
A large team of professionals worked on this project for more than half a year. Grafa, guests of honor, singers, dancers, choir, everyone was up to the task. The audience also believed in this show and donated 5 leva from each purchased ticket for the development of children’s talents from the Dimitar Berbatov Foundation.
Just before the concert, DJ Burlak & DiMO BG took the stage, followed by the amazing young men from the Junior Band, who made sure that the audience was in a great musical mood.
A memorable evening in the history of Bulgarian pop music
A memorable evening in the history of Bulgarian pop music began with the hits “The Sun in Your Eyes” and “You Shine”. Along with well-known hits, the stage lighting shone, and on the imposing stage, LED screens exploded with incredible projections that accompanied the concert. The construction itself on the stage was imaginatively designed and the visual experience where the lighting, led screens and pyrotechnics were at the world level, additionally delighted everyone present.
The energy and exchange of emotions between the audience and the performers was incredible. A new charge of emotions exploded when Vladimir Ampov- Grafa invited Bulgaria’s No. 1 goalkeeper Dimitar Berbatov and the children from his foundation to the stage. He welcomed the audience to “his field” and personally thanked the audience for supporting their favorite artist and the development of Bulgarian music, art and talent by purchasing tickets for the concert. Berbatov invited the 16-year-old pianist Ivajlo Vasilev, a child of his foundation, to the stage. Grafa arranged the song “Nobody” for the piano especially for him. Ivajlo confidently took the big stage and took the audience’s breath away with his virtuoso performance.
Incredible audio-visual show
The last song on the graphic setlist was a song dedicated to his mother Toni Ampov. The sky above the stadium was illuminated by beautiful fireworks, which delighted. For several minutes, the mass of fans demanded an encore. The stage was illuminated again, and this time the women’s choir “Mystery of Bulgarian Voices” took the stage with Graf. They performed the epic “Century Forest”, which melts the heart of every Bulgarian. Vladimir Ampov sang two songs – “Moments” and “I give everything for you”, after which the lights of the stadium turned on. This was the end of an incredible audio-visual show and the beginning of a new stage in the history of Bulgarian pop music.
