Dance Fest Novi Sad is an international dance competition of professional and amateur character. The festival lasted three days in the period from 17.03. until 19.03.2023. at SPENS venue in Novi Sad.
The festival gathers dance lovers, dancers, trainers, choreographers and renowned world dance experts. The goal of the festival is to create conditions for the promotion of young talents, young authors, exchange of ideas and support for artists in dance art. All festival participants have the opportunity to promote their national heritage, tradition and culture, in addition to dancing. The Dance Fest Novi Sad has a competitive and exhibition character.
The organizer’s wish is to enable and support the development of tolerance and coexistence, as well as the nurturing of multicultural heritage in a city like Novi Sad. The festival is intended for children and youth, but also for parents, teachers, and all citizens who care about the proper and healthy upbringing of children by recommending and directing them to quality cultural content. The festival program includes off-stage activities in the form of educational seminars, club presentations and getting to know the host city.
Apart from the competitions in different categories of dance, great, diverse choreographies, the audience enjoyed the audio, video, lighting spectacle that accompanied each performed point. Studio Berar provided led screens on which the projections evoked the story accompanying the performances, also, the spectators enjoyed the mastery of our light designers as well as the perfect sound.
